| Situated in the cool, often foggy, Russian River Valley near Fulton, this 85-year-old vineyard is one of our last Zinfandel vineyards to be harvested. Originally planted in the early 1900's, winemaker Joel Peterson started working with the Belloni Zinfandel in 1990. The wine was so good that Belloni made vineyard-designated status the very next year. |

Call it a Meritage (rhymes with heritage) if you will, this wine is a gorgeous marriage of traditional Bordeaux practices and distinctly California 'terroir'. Located on the slopes of Moon Mountain, not far from the Monte Rosso Vineyard, Rancho Salina is planted with the three major grape varietals of Bordeaux.
